Scientifical activity

My research focuses on the design, implementation and evaluation of the effects of health promotion interventions. These are part of primary prevention, through the promotion of physical activity and the reduction of a sedentary lifestyle in the general population of children, and in tertiary prevention, as part of a program of adapted physical activity in affected populations. chronic conditions, including cancer patients. I analyze the effects of these interventions globally, both on biological and physiological markers, and on perceived fatigue, quality of life and psychological and social markers. The interventions I created or co-created are based on proven theoretical frameworks, including theories of motivation or behavioral change.

My research is at the interface of several disciplines by integrating concepts of science of physical and sport activities, ranging from biology (markers of metabolism) to psychology (psychology of health and socio-cognitive models), by building on a methodological basis in public health, epidemiology and biostatistics.
