Founded in Nice\, France in 1995\, we have established ourselves as th e leading sport science community in Europe\, with a truly international d emographic.\n\nThe main scientific event in our calendar each year is our annual congress. The annual congress has been organised since our inaugura tion in 1995. We meet in a unique location every year which has been selec ted following a thorough bidding process.\n\nToday\, the ECSS congress ran ks among the leading sport science events in the world. It offers a range of invited lectures\, symposia and oral presentations as well as workshops \, satellites\, poster sessions\, award opportunities and our world-class exhibition (SportEx). Every year the congress welcomes approximately 3000 international participants from sport science and related fields.\n\n\n&nb sp\;\n!!! ATTENTION !!!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNEW DATES: 28-30 October 2020\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs mentioned in the ECSS President ’s message\, we have decided to move the ECSS congress. We have worked v ery closely with city officials\, Universidad Pablo de Olavide - the host university\, and FIBES - the venue\, and can confirm that the congress wil l take place from Wednesday 28th October 2020 to Friday 30th October 2020.
